Day 1

Day 1 saw Claire join Jo & co at Teralba to head off for there 1st day's walking. Unfortunately Ben was unable to start today so he will join them either Monday or Tuesday. After speaking with Jo this afternoon they had reached there 1st overnight destination in what she described as an extremely tough day (if you know Jo they were not the exact words) with some of the climbs near on vertical. They saw many leaches although not many troubled them. All in all they should sleep well tonight, and awake to an even more difficult walk tomorrow, with the 1st 4 kilometers being straight up and expected to take just over 2 hours.
